Ariana Grande is the new up and comer pop star. Originally starting her career on Broadway & Television, this global superstar is a force to be reckon with. Here is her story just in case you don't know it.Ariana Grande was born on June 26, 1993 in Boca Raton, Florida to Joan Grande, CEO of telephone and alarm system company Hose-McCann Communications, and Edward Butera, who owns a graphic design firm. She is of italian descent. She has a half-brother named Frankie, who is also a actor. Growing up in Boca Raton, Ariana performed with the Fort Lauderdale Children's Theatre with roles like Annie and Beauty & the Beast. She also performed at a Karaoke lounge and singing with orchestras and more. She made her tv debut singing the national anthem for the Florida Panthers. She later became serious about her music career and acting career so she moved to Los Angeles. This is when she got her role as Charlotte the cheerleader on 13 the Broadway musical in 2008. She also won a National Youth Theatre Association Award for this role Go Ari!
In 2009, she auditioned for the Nickelodeon television show Victorious in New York along with 13 co-star Elizabeth Gillies. She played Cat valentine a student who is friends with the protagonist, Tori Vega, played by Victoria justice. Its about a group of friends who go to a Performing Arts High School. When she landed the role, Grande had to dye her hair red every other week because the executive producer, Dan Schneider, did not want all cast members to be brunettes, and was also a feature that the network felt would fit the personality of Cat. The show premiered on March 27, 2010 to the second largest audience for a live-action series in Nickelodeon history with 5.7 million viewers.The role helped propel Grande to teen idol status, but she was more interested in a music career stating that acting is "fun, but music has always been first and foremost with me." In 2010, she played the role of Miriam in the musical Cuba Libre, which was written and produced by songwriter Desmond Child.After season one of Victorious wrapped, Grande wanted to focus on her music career and began working on her debut album in August 2010. She made her first musical appearance on the track "Give It Up" on the soundtrack Victorious: Music from the Hit TV Show in August 2011. While filming Victorious, Grande made several recordings of herself singing covers of Adele, Whitney Houston, and Mariah Carey, and uploaded them on YouTube which i have top to say are amazing. Monte Lipman, CEO of Republic Records, came across one of Grande's videos and signed her to a recording contract. She released her first single "Put Your Hearts Up", in December which was cut during sessions for a teen-oriented pop album that was held up by numerous delays.Unsatisfied with the direction of her music, she later disowned the track for its bubblegum pop sound and had no interest in recording music of that genre. A second soundtrack, Victorious 2.0, was released on June 5, 2012 as an extended play. After three seasons, it was announced in August 2012 that Victorious would not be renewed which was really sad because that was one of the best shows Nickelodeon had. That was not the end to Cat Valentine. On August 2, Entertainment Weekly announced that Nickelodeon had officially ordered an iCarly and Victorious spin-off pilot starring Jennette McCurdy and Grande. The sitcom titled Sam & Cat, paired Grande and McCurdy together in a traditional "buddy sitcom" setting as roommates who form an after-school babysitting business, It premiered on June 8, 2013. Despite being a success in the ratings, the series was canceled due to Grande's rising musical career and behind-the-scenes drama, with the final episode airing on July 17, 2014 something about cast and crew pay checks. In December 2012, she collaborated on the single version of "Popular Song", a duet with British singer and songwriter Mika. She also starred as Snow White in a pantomime production called A Snow White Christmas, with Charlene Tilton and Neil Patrick Harris, at the Pasadena Playhouse. Popular song hit high on the pop charts and i can see why just listen to it.

In 2013 she got the role as Amanda Benson in the movie Swindle along her Sam & Cat co-star Jennette McCurdy which premiered that August.
She joined Justin Bieber on his Believe Tour for three shows and kicked off her own headlining tour, The Listening Sessions. She also generated controversy when she posted a photo on instagram with Justin kissing her on the tour bus. At the 2013 American Music Awards, she won the award for New Artist of the Year and was the most mentioned artist on Twitter that night after her spectacular performance of her song Tattooed Heart. She released a four-song Christmas EP, Christmas Kisses in December 2013.Christmas Kisses received critical praise for its "R&B spin" on the Christmas classics. I usually do not like Christmas Album since Mariah Carey, but this Diva brought me back to my roots.
The third single from My Everything, "Love Me Harder", featuring The Weeknd, debuted on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number seven. On November 24, 2014, Grande released a Christmas song titled "Santa Tell Me." Ariana is going back to our tv screen as she will guest-star as a recurring role on the upcoming Fox new comedy-horror TV series Scream Queens, created by Ryan Murphy. I can't wait for it.
She currently going on her Honeymoon Tour, which i plan to go to. She is also dating Big Sean after moths of suspicion over them, but were finally caught when pictures of them kissing on a roller coaster surfaced. She also been caught up in some controversies. One being her as a "DIVA" after forcing people to carry her around, and lashing out on people. I think is a load of crap, look at her she is an angel. Even her ex-beau, Big Sean, went on the Breakfast Club and said that is bull crap. Anyway, she is also guest starring in alot of songs, like Nicki Minaj's song "Get on your Knees". She also became a vegan and , participated at the charitable Stand Up to Cancer television program, performing the title track "My Everything" in dedication to her grandfather, who had died from cancer in July.Ariana Grande is just starting soon she will not be known as the " Next Mariah Carey" but as the " Legendary Ariana Grande".
