A Night to Remember: 2016 Prom Special

Prom is one of the most important nights in your entire High School life, and you have to make sure you look the part. Well The Daily Diva is Here to Help with six looks that will surely give you a night to remember.

RED CLASSIC

 The red classic look is a mix between Hollywood glam, and floral chic. Prom is usually around spring time, and it is a perfect time to showcase that in this unorthodox look. The Jessica Rabbit themed hair brings the elegance of the look out along with the jewelry. Two-piece is the new prom trend, and this Sherri Hill dress will definitely be the star show. Lets not forget about the make-up. Yanny Love models the look for the Red Classic. The red lips add a pop of color with the somewhat neutral eye color. It is simple yet brings a certain grace, and maturity that is perfect for prom. Overall this gorgeous look brings an elegant yet fun look to prom. 

POISED IVY 

You might be wearing green with this look, but the only people that will be envious is everyone else. The stunning look showcases maturity, class, and elegance. Green is one of those colors that is not given enough credit, because if it is done RIGHT like it is above it will steal the show.  The long lacy dark green dress is perfect presentation of sophistication. The makeup look provided by Yanny Love is a little dark creating a ora of maturity, but the sea green sparkly eye shadow brings out the look. It is also in contrasting with the rest of the look so it pops out more. The up-do braid put into a bun also brings out the maturity, but what is cool is your face will be beat, and your hair on fleek making a rotation of beauty. Jewelry is your best friend, and the addition of  the Harry Winston  vintage diamond emerald chandelier earrings  is the perfect accessory to this elegant look. In all, its the perfect look for prom that shows maturity, class, and elegance. 

GIRLS JUST WANT TO HAVE FUN

Girls just want to have fun is the expression for this look. Prom is about fun and making memories and in this look that is surely a possibility. First, we have the gorgeous blue dress with a flattering sweetheart neckline, jeweled top flowing into a tutu bottom. It is perfect for that girl that is all about dancing, and still capture the magic of prom. The makeup look from Yanny Love provides gorgeous sparkling eyes, which showcase you can never go wrong with sparkles.

The short, messy-curled bob with a side braid adds the perfect carefree addition to the GIrls Just Want to Have Fun look. Adding some pink stone pins on the braid gives it a more chic look, and goes with the lips, earrings and shoes. The addition of pink to this look a cottoncandy feel, which definitely symbolize fun and free in this case. In the end, you have the perfect look to look cute, but still have a blast, and carefree evening.

FLORAL GRACE

Florals are in this prom season so obvi we had to add a look for those floral enthusiast out there. Lets start with the makeup. Yanny Love provides a classic yet elegant look for this floral outfit. Its simple and not overstated for those who like to keep it simple, but still have a bit of flare. This gorgeous two-piece dress from Sherri Hill's latest collection is sure to steal the show at prom. The white lace top is sophisticated in simplicity, and the mermaid skirt adds the fun, yet still keeps the elegance of the look.

The loose curls attached through a gorgeous braid adds the bohemian carefree vibe perfect for the look. Adding a floral crown to the hair look will create a flawless floral grace. Honestly this is my favorite look. I love the elegance, grace, sophistication, and it is PROMtastic. It showcases maturity, which is your status at this point in high school. 

PRETTY IN PINK

Pretty in Pink is so right. If you love pink as much as I do than this look is perfect for you, and if you love sparkle well this look is also perfect for you. First we have this gorgeous Sherri Hill masterpiece dress. The website describes it as this playful party dress is framed with colored rhinestones and beadwork along the bateau neckline, cap sleeves, and cinched waist before jutting out at the hips and cutting off mid-thigh. 

We then have the makeup, which provide sparkly eyes perfect for the look, but simple lips to not overdramatize the look in its entirety. The round messy crown braid is simple,but still complexly elegant. It is easy to do handle, and not a hassle. The heels are probably my favorite in this look. The ombre effect from silver to pink is perfect for this look, and it is SPARKLY!!! There is also the ring to bracelet chain, which adds a little extra to the look. Overall you will sure be Pretty in Pink with look.

CHAMPAGNE AND WINE

There is nothing wrong with elegance and class especially at prom. This look is just that. It brings a tone of maturity, and sophistication to the event, and you will surely be the center of attention with this look. We start with the makeup. The gold glittery eyes followed with the dark lips balance to create a champagne and wine effect. The gold brings out the fun, and the lips showcases the maturity. It also sets the color tone for the look.  We then have a slick back straight hair look, which actually a big trend in hollywood. Highlights the makeup look, and is a very sophisticated look.
Then we have the gorgeous burgundy princess style dress, which will steal the show. It like a glass of wine, smooth and rich in taste. Adding gold accessories will offset the the burgundy dress creating a perfect picture of elegance. Overall this look is prom approved, and is perfect to showcase your maturity, but the fun is still there.
